Name: | Dyrin |
---|
Dyrin (dear-in) is a fairly young dragon, only about a hundred years old, and is quite moderately-sized, being perhaps thirty-six inches tall at the absolute most, and weighing about twenty pounds. Dyr is a deep red in color, flecked all over in gold, with deep yellow-orange eyes and an expressive little face. He also has a somewhat coarse mane that grows along his head and neck, and the matching tufts of fur on his elbows, ankles, and tail-tip. He has a compact body with delicate and surprisingly sturdy limbs, and long, mobile ears capable of independent movement, and as a result can hear very, very well.
He does speak, albeit with a slight lisp and rumble given the mechanics of a nonhuman mouth trying to replicate a human language, and the sounds he can't make or mimic are few and far between. He can of course fly, and as such he rarely walks unless the space is much too tight for his wings to comfortably unfurl. Much like any other dragon you'd come across, Dyr is capable of breathing fire if you make him angry, though he rarely intentionally lights anything aflame, and he is far from incendiary in nature. He quite likes to sleep on metallic surfaces, and does indeed love the color gold.
